Terms of use

Last updated October 14, 2026. API Meter is operated by Canada Site Ops, Ontario, Canada. Contact: canada.site.ops@gmail.com.

By signing up for or using API Meter (the website, the proxy and the dashboard), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Early access, provided as is

API Meter is a beta. Features, limits and prices may change, and the service may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that usage counts will be complete or accurate. Don't rely on it as your only record for billing your customers.

2. Free tier and current limits

3. No service level agreement

There is no uptime or support SLA. Because clients call your API through the proxy, an outage of API Meter or Cloudflare can affect your API. Keep a way to point clients straight at your origin, and don't put traffic through the beta that you can't afford to have interrupted.

4. Acceptable use

You may only proxy APIs you own or are authorized to operate (that's why we verify origin ownership). You agree not to use API Meter to:

We may suspend or remove an API that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.

5. Your data and keys

You keep ownership of your API and your data. You're responsible for keeping your dashboard key and proxy secret safe and for having the right to send us the usage data your traffic generates. How we handle data is described in our privacy policy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Canada Site Ops is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost revenue or lost data arising from your use of the free beta, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service (currently zero).

7. Ending use

You can stop at any time by pointing clients back at your origin. Email us with your slug to delete your API configuration. We may end the beta with reasonable notice on this site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
